The sky is not too interesting today, but look at all that greenery! Today is WARM. Beach here I come!!!

It has been really nice and unseasonalbly warm the past couple days.
Today started out the same, but these grey clouds just rolled in.

Where's the snow? It's a beautiful day today so I'm not complaining. But Christmas is only 9 days away. A white Christmas looks doubtful. :(

Lookie, lookie! I remembered to post my Saturday Sky... on Saturday! Seriously, I'm surprised they haven't kicked me off this webring yet. Don't the clouds look delicate and pretty today?

I hate when bloggers start giving a list of excuses about why they are neglecting their blogs. So I won't go there. I will just say that I realize I've neglected this blog. As I get the hang of this mommy thing I hope to have more time get back to two of my favorite hobbies, fiber arts and writing.

LOOK! I actually took this last night. It was a cloudy, depressing day. But it started to clear at dusk and you can see the moon. very cool.

The heat wave has broken! Today's high is 86, feels like 86. Yay!

We are off to the beach to enjoy the weather.

More Sky

Yeah, so I basically suck at this Saturday sky thing. I was driving home yesterday, saw the most beautiful sunset. Did I stop and take a pic? Nope, the shoulder was to narrow to stop. Totally forgot about the Sat Sky thing again! So here is a cool pic of the sky today. Taken on my camera phone while I was at the beach.

Sunday Sky

Ok, so I guess I'm not quite in the habit of this Saturday Sky thing yet. So here is our Sunday Sky, basically the same as yesterday. Cloudy and raining all weekend!
Friday and yesterday I completely cleaned out my once tidy guest bedroom where there had been an apparent yarn/fabric explosion. I also condensed down that unrully yarn stash into one closet, one dresser, and one large storage tub. It's nice and pretty in there again.
All you yarn snobs out there would have a heart-attack if you saw how much Fun Fur I have. It is quite unhealthly. I do have an excuse though, I was making and selling FF scarves like crazy at one point. I stocked up everytime it went on sale to keep up with the demand. However, I got tired of making them and the stash overtook me. I even sold some scarves this past winter, so maybe I'll be so lucky again this year.

Here's my first Saturday Sky submission. It was a grey, hazy morning at the beach. We even got some sunshowers. It did get a bit sunnier in the afternoon though.
