Here is the star blankie I made for my friend's baby girl. I wanted to do something a little different from the traditional pastels. I used Beth's Little Star Afghan pattern to get me started. I found the beginning very hard to figure out and I had to re-do it many times before I finally got it right. Once it gets going, it's only dc. I'm thinking about making a little stuffed animal to match.
BTW, I used Lion Brand Pound of Love. Not the softest, but durable and I had it in my stash already.
I think it is quite cute!
