Yarn: Mostly Red Heart Soft and some other scraps of softer acrylic
Getting started:
Making some progress (with flash, excuse the shine):
My goal is to have this at the foot of Peanut's bed someday... you know, when he gets a big-boy-bed.
I started using a super low tech "random color generator"... scraps of paper with the colors written on them. I randomly pick one to determine my next color. Of course if the color clashes or if I just used it I have veto power. This is a fun exercise as I normally want it all to be matchy matchy or follow a specific ROYGBP pattern. I love how the personality of the piece changes with each row added. Everytime I start a row I'm not sure if I like it but by the time I'm finished it grows on me. I think it may need more white and possibly some pink or orange. I don't want it to look too girly though. I have some Red Heart Super Saver, but I wanted to only use soft acrylics in this one. I will probably go exchange some colors.
What do you think? Do you think it's missing something too?
